ORIGIN: Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized warm to cool growing epiphyte with stout, ascending, terete ramicaul enveloped by 4 to 5 imbricating, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a .15 to .20 [3 to 4 mm] long, fascile of successive, single flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul with a tubular floral bract.
