ORIGIN: Found in Colombia and Venezuela at elevations around 2300 to 2500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 7, tubular, hispidulous sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, narrowly elliptical-ovate, acute, cuneate below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a fascile of .05 to .1 [1 to 2mm] long, single successive flowers arising from the apex of the ramicual.
