ORIGIN: Found in southern Brazil on old trees mid way to high on trunk at elevations of 700 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped basally by 2 to 3 trumpet shaped sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, round to ovate, fleshy keeled leaf that blooms in the spring on a 1.4 [3.5 cm] long, successively 3, 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence.
