ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea in lowland and lower montane forests at elevations around 20 to 900 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with more or less flexuous, densely leafy stems enveloped completely by leaf sheaths and carrying several, erect-patent, narrowly linear, acuminate, twisted [at least when dry] leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on a terminal, short, successively single flowered inflorescence with the flowers at the apex of the stems.
