ORIGIN: Found in western Hubei and Eastern Sichuan China in stony to humus rich soils in forests at elevations of 1750 to 2250 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with ovoid to conical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic-lanceolate leaf that is partially developed at flowering which occurs in the spring on an erect, 8 3/4 [22 cm] long, single or 2 flowered inflorescence.
