ORIGIN: A miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte from Antioquia and Cundinamarca Colombia in cloud forests at elevations of 1500 to 2800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: A miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte from Antioquia and Cundinamarca Colombia in cloud forests at elevations of 1500 to 2800 meters with erect ramicauls enveloped basally by several scarious sheaths carrying a single, apical, erect, leathery, purple suffused leaf and blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, successively single flowered inflorescence held in a fascile and arises on the back side of the leaf.
