ORIGIN: Found in Assam and the eastern Himalayas in shady, warm, broad leafed forests at elevations of 330 to 1100 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a branched stem carrying distichous, linear-oblong, keeled beneath, obtuse to subacute, minutely bifid apically, sessile, jointed leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a straight, glabrous, .8 to 3.4 [2 to 8.5 cm] long, laxly 8 to 18 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute to apiculate floral bracts.
