ORIGIN: Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Hainan China, Vietnam, peninsular Malaysia, Andaman Islands, Java, Sumatra and the Philippines often in primary or secondary riverine, lowland and hill forests on twigs at elevations of 50 to 1200 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying 5 to 8, two ranked, narrowly lanceolate, fleshy, curved, apically and unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on many, arising from the base, thin, terete, 1.6 [4 cm] long, successively single, few [5] flowered inflorescence with one very small bract and triangular, acute, concave, reddish brown floral bracts and carrying the short-lived [1 day] flowers facing in all directions.
