ORIGIN: Found in Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Guyana, Fr. Guiana, Surinam, Ecuador and Peru in pluvial montane forests at elevations around 400 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial orchid with very a short stem carrying a few, basal, whorled, narrowly elliptic-ovate, brownish green speckled with pink, acute to acuminate apically, cuneate below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, pubescent, to 16 [40 cm] long, loosely many flowered inflorescence.
