ORIGIN: Found in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Myanmar and China on trees and shaded rocks at elevations of 1300 to 2400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte or lithophyte with 1.6 to 4 [4 to 10 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, oblong-elliptic, notched apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a single flowered inflorescence with nearly as long as the ovary, lanceolate, subacute, membraneous floral bract.
