ORIGIN: Found in the lowlands of Papua and New Guinea at elevations of 500 to 1500 meters on casuarina trees along streams and gullies.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with narrowly fusiform, to 9 noded, purple brown or green stems carrying to 4, suberect, ovate, mostly concave of up side, coriaceous, slightly unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms most often in the fall and winter but a secondary bloom is possible at any time of the year, on a 12 [30 cm] long, axillary, erect, several to many [to 10] flowered, racemose inflorescence with fragrant flowers arising from the nodes near the apex of both newly leafed and leafless canes.
