ORIGIN: Found in Cauca Colombia in moist forests at elevations of 200 to 400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 3, long, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the long-petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, subsecund, to 24 [60 cm] long, simultaneously few flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe, from an annulus below the apex of the ramicaul.
