ORIGIN: Found in southeastern and southern Brazil.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial terrestrial with a single basal, narrowly elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on an erect, 14 [35 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with tubular, long-acute, basally clasping bracts and langer than the ovary floral bracts.
