ORIGIN: Found in Ecuador and Peru at elevations around 1400 to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, acool growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by a close, tubular sheath below the middle and another at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on 2 erect, subcongested, distichous, 5.2 to 6.4 [13 to 16 cm] long, including the 1.6 [4 cm] long peduncle, mostly simultaneously, many flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe from the apex of the ramicaul and has oblique, acute floral bracts.
