ORIGIN: Found in the Atlantic forest, in Bahia, Espirito Santo and Rio De Janeiro State of Brazil in montane rainforests at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Hot to warm growing epiphyte with conical, four sided, slightly compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, plicate, oblong lanceolate, acuminate, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on a basal, erect, 7 [18 cm] long 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with oblong obtuse floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers.
