ORIGIN: Found in western Ecuador in tropical rainforests at elevations of 70 to 1219 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with imbricate, conduplicate, leaf-bearing sheaths attenuate to the distichous, strap-shaped, acute, conduplicate towards the base leaves arranged in a fan shape that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary, single flowered, 5 to 7 long inflorescence with a long-lasting, extremely fragrant flowers.
